The product pages provide an overview of our range of Contemporary and Traditional Open Convector Fires, with the ability to call up in-depth product information.
Contemporary Cleanline open convector fireboxes - The Contemporary Cleanline Firebox family has 4 members: Mini, Classic and Wide inset models for built-in situations plus the Solo, a freestanding contemporary firebox which is a stunning stand-alone fire as well as being perfect for placement in a recess. Traditional Tortoise open convector fireboxes – The Traditional Tortoise Firebox family is available as an inset model for built-in situations or as a freestanding model – perfect for inglenooks or as a stand-alone fire. Both styles are available in 8 standard sizes to suit most situations, but if our sizes don’t quite fit the bill, we offer a unique made-to-measure service should you require something a little different. Simply contact us to discuss your situation – we can usually adjust a Cleanline or Tortoise to suit your requirements! The cleverly designed box-within-a-box principle provides far higher levels of performance than those of a conventional open fire. Cooler air from the room is warmed as it is naturally convected around the convection chamber in the Cleanline or Tortoise before returning it to the room – extracting more heat from your fuel. An added benefit comes from the gentle and even spread of warmth around your room – reducing the ‘hot front-cold back’ effect of many open fires. |
